Our New Council
With Christmas just around the corner and the New Year upon us, it would only be fitting for us as a new Council to offer our best wishes for a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
We, as a council, are trying to settle into our new positions. Taking on the affairs of the Town is, to say the least, a challenging and exciting experience. There are knowledgeable people on our Council who are eager and willing to help. Between new and fresh approaches coupled with previous Council experience, it is agreed by all that we must work together to ensure a well run town.
Ideas, suggestions and support from the community is needed to help us be aware of the many things that go on in our Town, whether it be good or bad. It is through the people that we get the information to be able to deal with every situation that we may come across. We encourage residents to be volunteers of our community organizations, to speak out when something is wrong, to offer a helping hand when the need arises no matter what the situation may be. It is through active participation of the people that we can accomplish that which we were voted for.
In this season of goodwill and peace towards family and friends, let us ever be mindful of those who are less fortunate and perhaps through some word or deed we as individuals can extend a helping hand or a cheerful word of encouragement to those in need.
May the Hope, Joy and Peace of this Christmas Season be with you and yours throughout the coming year.
Faithfully Yours,
Council and Staff of the Town of
