NEWS: New Town Plan / Garbage on Mondays

Pouch Cove News | 2021-02-02

We have a new Municipal Plan!

The Town of Pouch Cove is happy to announce that we now have a new Municipal Plan and Development Regulations. This has been a long time coming and we would like to thank all residents and businesses in Pouch Cove for their continued interest in the community and for sharing their thoughts throughout the process from announcement to several drafts to the final version we have today.

The new Municipal Plan updates our land-use and development rules to better reflect the Town’s vision for future growth and to accommodate new language and interpretations that spring up in our ever-changing world.

We remind developers and property owners that permits are required for most projects that take place in the Town from fences and basement apartments to building additions and new homes in subdivisions. The new Municipal Plan and Development Regulations can be viewed on the Town’s Budget, Fees, & Municipal Plan page, information about permits and applications can be viewed on the Town’s Forms, Permits, & Applications page.
