The Town of Pouch Cove would like to remind residents to practice fire safety continually throughout the summer season. Always be aware of the current Fire Index and have a valid Burn Permit on site.
Residents can obtain a free Burn Permit from Forest Management by calling 709-729-4180 or emailing [email protected] Permits are good for two weeks with the exception of any day which the fire index reaches the danger level. Please forward a copy of your permit to [email protected] once obtained.
