Last night, Premier Andrew Furey presented over 100 youth with the 2024 Premier’s Athletic Award. One of the recipients of this year’s award was our very our Lily Evans of Pouch Cove.
Established in 2005, the awards program recognizes athletic excellence and provides financial support to help offset the costs of training and competition. Grants ranging from $500 to $1,500 are awarded based on the level of competition and the athletes’ respective accomplishments. Congratulations to Lily and all the 2024 recipients.
