Administrative Support Clerk (Six [6] Month Full Time Position)
The Town of Pouch Cove is seeking an Administrative Support Clerk within the Administrative Services Department. This is a non-union position reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
This position is accountable for providing administrative support to the CAO and Council. This includes but is not limited to:
- maintaining the Town’s record management system;
- arranging meetings;
- reception duties;
- accepting payments;
- preparing deposits; and
- attending Council meetings to take minutes.
Planning and Development Officer (Six [6] Month Full Time Position)
The Town of Pouch Cove is seeking a Planning and Development Officer within the Administrative Services Department. This is a non-union position, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer.
This position is accountable for both development and planning functions within the Town. This includes but is not limited to:
- processing development applications;
- enforcing compliance with Town regulations and bylaws;
- preparing reports;
- providing direction and advice to the CAO and Council;
- and liaising with the public, consultants and agencies.
Finance Clerk(s) – Full-time Permanent
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Finance Clerk is responsible for the provision of administrative support, including accounts payable and receivable, roll maintenance and related duties. This position is responsible for assisting the Chief Administrative Officer, and clerical duties such as cashier and typing duties, maintaining the filing system, handling mail, answering and directing phone calls, and meeting and greeting visitors and clients.
